Land Based Coordinator (Little Saskatchewan First Nation) – External Opportunity

DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Jordan’s Principle Case Manager, the Jordan’s Principle Land Based Coordinator will facilitate and coordinate Land Based programs and events for all families and children receiving services under Jordan’s Principle.

The Jordan’s Principle Land Based Coordinator is responsible to ensure the highest standards in programming and delivery are maintained for children of Little Saskatchewan First Nation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A college certificate in a related discipline and/ or Grade 12 Diploma with practical knowledge of land based traditions
• Experience in program coordination and program planning
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Knowledge of working with First Nations communities
• Understanding of issues specific to First Nations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be available to work flexible hours
• Clear Criminal Record check and Child Abuse Registry check mandatory
• Class 5 Manitoba driver’s license and own vehicle required
• Computer skills essential
